Incident in Musakhel, Balochistan: 23 Passengers Killed

A tragic event occurred today in Musakhel, Balochistan, where armed attackers brutally killed 23 passengers. The incident happened in the Raara Sham area, where the sound of gunfire filled the air for over three hours.

According to SP Ayub Achakzai, the attackers, dressed in civilian clothes, stopped several buses on the main National Highway N-70. They forced the passengers off the buses and shot them. All the victims were from different areas of Punjab.

In addition to the killings, the attackers also set fire to over 35 vehicles, including trucks, creating even more chaos. The police and Levies forces arrived at the scene and started moving the bodies to nearby hospitals. However, many vehicles are still burning.

The situation has caused fear and panic in the area, with reports that the highway connecting Punjab and Balochistan has been closed due to the ongoing gunfire. Some people were also injured during the attack, and several trucks were burned.

This tragic incident highlights the need for better security in the region. It is especially concerning that local police in the area were reportedly aware of the attacks but did not respond in time.
